Hi Everyone!

A/C Units are being cranked to high, sunscreen is being generously applied, and the Mets playoff hopes are hanging by a must have been July. The ASL team has had an exciting month embarking on new projects and re-teaming with old partners. We took advantage of our in-office studio, and explored the culinary delights of the Big Apple. Here's a taste of what we were up to this July!

The simple, yet elegant staging of a black backdrop and monitor set the tone for Dixon to deliver their message to investors.

Having a versatile film studio in our own office space has proven invaluable to delivering great customer service. This was especially apparent with our new client Dixon Advisory.  Dixon is an Australian-based real estate investment company that needs to provide monthly videos to their investors about their portfolio.

We lit and filmed their 2-person presentation complete with in-house presentation monitor and teleprompter and were just steps from our edit desks the whole time.  This allowed us to produce a finished product for them in less than 48 hours.  Speed is especially critical for Dixon who wants to provide the most up to date information to investors that are largely 15 hours ahead in Australia, and ASL delivered. We look forward to producing more of these videos each month.

In the vein of other web series that marry food and banter, Barstool Sports has finally launched Beats N' Eats. Super Bowl Champ Willie Colon and his Barstool comrade Large, are joined by celebrity guests as they journey to restaurants across the 5 boroughs, exploring culinary creations and great music.

ASL provided a multi-camera crew to each shoot.  We lit every space from tight kitchens to make-shift DJ booths and used our Ronin Gimbal for smooth walk and talk segments. New episodes can be found on Fridays at 2 PM EST. Check out the premiere by clicking above.

We loved working with Lifion's huge team to create headshots that would put any school photo day to shame.

Lifion creates apps for business to better manage their entire human resources objectives. They also boast a diverse team of over 200 associates who previously didn't have any official company headshots. That's where we came in.

Our crew consisted of a director of photography, lighting assistant, digital processing technician and 2 makeup artists.  Together they wrangled close to 200 employees and provided multiple headshot options for them that they were able to look through on set before picking out their favorite. We then delivered the touched-up portraits in record time.

The Vets brought their expertise to the table for their instructional videos and we left with a lot of valuable information.

LifeLearn, an organization that specializes in offering marketing resources to the Animal Health Industry recently linked up with ASL to film interviews with veterinarians.  The doctors were brought in to educate audiences on a new drug that's being used to treat dogs afflicted with tumors. ASL oversaw every detail, from making sure we had a nice quiet film space without AC noise to the stools the doctors would sit in.  We lit a white backdrop with our Astra LED lights and fluorescent KINO 4-banks.

We never stop hustling at ASL! So stay tuned for more of our vibrant video projects.

Need video production support? We'd love to hear from you and discuss how we can bring your vision to life!

Until then,

- Adam
