VIDEO: FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION

Every moment lately has been packed with shoots, edits, and new projects. We covered a lot of ground from skincare spots to event panels to a project celebrating our very own neighborhood in Manhattan.

Here's a taste of the projects that have kept us in constant motion this month.

 

Social Media Campaigns with Hand & Stone

Hand and Stone showed off the magical products that are used in their facial services.

All it took was one day to produce loads of great content over at Hand and Stone's Pennsylvania Headquarters. Reps from Clarity RX, Dermalogica, and NuFace were on hand to make sure all the benefits of their products were on display. 

Armed with a white backdrop, two cameras, and our new Apurture 300 dII, we gathered tons of great footage. With their product reps and several models on board, we spent the day highlighting the products in all their different uses. We even used our portable jib to rig up an overhead angle of the massage bed. 

 

Spreading the Influence with Neutrogena

Neutrogena's events bring together special panels, great venues, and one-of-a-kind products.

Neutrogena put on a one-of-a-kind event featuring social media influencers trying out their latest products in their Bright Boost collection powered by NeoGlucosamine.

Loads of influencers were on hand including Baby Driver's Eiza Gonzalez. Gonzalez and three scientists took part in a panel discussion about Neutrogena's latest groundbreaking skin products. ASL's 4 person crew ran around with our Ronin S gimbal capturing the action. We then created an energetic sizzle recap. Be on the lookout for it on Instagram.

 

Marketing Videos with AmTrust

We worked with AmTrust to highlight the great work environment they provide their employees.

AmTrust is a multinational insurance company headquartered in New York City. We teamed up with them for a full day of shooting to deliver two key videos: a recruitment video and an on-boarding video for new hires. The action-packed day included motion-tracking shots with our Ronin M, and some stunning shots from above thanks to our DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone.

The shoot was tightly structured around scripted spots and a variety of shots capturing AmTrust employees in action. 

 

Hudson Square Business Improvement District's 10th Anniversary

We shot interviews and timelapses to capture what makes our neighborhood great.

ASL has called Hudson Square home for the past two years now. Located between Tribeca and the West Village, it's a bustling area filled with great restaurants, wide streets, and a quickly growing business community. Needless to say, we were excited to take up a project with the Hudson Square Business Improvement District to celebrate their 10th Anniversary and highlight the great things taking shape here.

The future is bright for Hudson Square. With Google and Disney setting up massive offices in the area, it's sure to become an even more interesting place to work. We've interviewed local business owners and administrative personnel to capture what it is that makes Hudson Square such a unique place to live and work.

More Action with PWC and Barstool Sports

 

The variety of projects we've been working on is never-ending. One day we'll be shooting a Goodfellas-esque tracking shot through a Hooter's, the next we'll be shooting direct-to-camera messages for PWC. Though these seem like radically different worlds, it's all part of the day-to-day for us here and we always deliver.
